The article is devoted to analysis of a new female statuettes made of mammoth ivory. It was found in 2016 in the central part of the Point B (Cyrillic) of the Eastern Gravettian site of Khotylevo 2. The statuette is a true masterpiece of figurative portable art of Palaeolithic. The figure depicts a pregnant woman in a semi-sitting/inclined posture. The sculpture has the main morphometric features of the figures of Gagarinotype, and is built according to the Gagarino design scheme, as they are. Along with that, it has some features of visual images that distinguish this figure from the number of statues, bringing it together with a figurine № 1 from the Khotylevo 2. The archaeological context of these two statues is also identical. The article raises the question of the division of all currently known female figurines made of ivory and based on the Gagarino design scheme into two groups, corresponding to relatively the Khotylevo (pregnant “bowed”) and Gagarino (fat “sitting”) iconographic canons of sculptural female image.

Key words: The Upper Paleolithic Age, Russian Plain, Eastern Gravettian, Khotylevo 2, female figurine.
